Bollywood on-screen pair Ayushmann Khurrana and Yami Gautam will share screen space again after their debut film "Vicky Donor".
Post the success of their first film, the two didn't appear in any other movie together. However, T Series is bringing the couple back in a music video titled "Yahin Hoon Main".
Directed by Amit Roy, it will be a romantic number shot in the Chail region of Himachal Pradesh.
T-Series' chairman and managing director Bhushan Kumar is producing the music video. As people know, the producer recently broke several records with his last song video 'Dheere Dheere Se'. The song featured Hrithik Roshan and Sonam Kapoor in a remake of the original song from the 1990s' film "Aashiqui".
Now, he is back with another song video which will feature one of the most-loved jodis in Bollywood — Ayushmann and Yami.
The song "Yahin Hoon Main" is also bringing together college friends Ayushmann and Rochak Kohli. The duo have sung and composed popular tracks including "Paani Da Rang", "Mitti Di Khusboo" and others.
The upcoming song will require Yami and the "Dum Laga Ke Haisha" actor to play the character of college kids who later grow into mature individuals.
Talking about the song, director Amit Roy told Bollywood Hungama: "It's a nostalgic song that plays out from Yami's point of view. Ayushmann's playback is beautiful. I knew I had to direct the song the moment I heard it."
He added: "I wanted to set the song against a romantic backdrop. It was a two-day schedule. We shot at a beautiful palace that was converted into a college campus and the cottages within its premises were shown as houses the leads live in."
