Jacqueline Fernandez, who will soon make her debut as judge of Colors' "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 9," has apparently refused to make an appearance on "Comedy Nights Bachao." Jacqueline, who is on a promotional spree for "Dishoom," didn't have a good experience on the comedy show when she had appeared for "Housefull 3" promotion along with her co-actors. Hence, this time the actress is in no mood to make an appearance on Krushna Abhishek's show.
"Jacqueline was extremely offended by Team Bachao's racist remarks towards her Housefull 3 colleague Lisa Haydon; she felt that a lot of Lisa's portions were edited very meanly in a way that only the 'insult' remained and not the 'comedy'. So, while she didn't stage a walkout during her 'Housefull 3' promotions, Jacqueline was surely in no mood to do an encore for 'Dishoom,'" a source told SpotboyE.
Not just Jacqueline, her "Dishoom" co-stars John Abraham and Varun Dhawan have also decided to skip the comedy show. "There is a very strong buzz about Dishoom and nonsensical insult is the last thing that the film's team wants," the source added.
It was reported earlier that Hrithik backed out from "Comedy Nights Bachao" as well as he was apparently not comfortable with the format of "Comedy Nights Bachao," where the hosts take a dig at the guests.
The "Mohenjo Daro" actor was also supposed to appear on the first episode of Colors' "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 9" to promote his film, but due to the channel's insistence on every celebrity to appear on "Comedy Nights Bachao" as well as "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 9," Hrithik decided to walk out of both the shows. Apparently, Akshay too has backed out from promoting his film "Rustom" on both the shows.
