The Hebbuli duo is reuniting again. Yes, director S Krishna and Kiccha Sudeep are collaborating for one more film. The cinematographer-turned-filmmaker himself revealed the news on Twitter.
"Happy to be associating & working wth @KicchaSudeep sir. Didnt expect it to happen this quickly. Team is excited and on toes to get going [sic]," Krishna tweeted. The movie will begin once Sudeep wraps up his forthcoming flick The Villain.
He added, "Project to hit floors by Oct, after completion of #TheVillain...Wil post details on the Title, cast n crew soon..Right now,,,EXCITED [sic]."
The director and the actor had expressed their desire to work again during promotions for Hebbuli. In fact, there were speculations that they might collaborate for its sequel.
It is now rumoured that they might be collaborating for the sequel of Kempe Gowda, which was a remake of Tamil movie Singam. The latest film will not be a remake and will be made with an original story. However, the director is tight-lipped about his plans.
Krishna, who is known as Kittappa in Sandalwood, shares a warm rapport with Sudeep. As a result, the actor had given a nod to the director's Hebbuli without even hearing the complete script.
Hebbuli Success
Hebbuli, which released in February, had turned out to be a hit at the Kannada box office. The Sudeep and Ravichandran starrer, which had Amala Paul in female lead, was a revenge saga that impressed both the mass and class audience.
