Salman Khan, who had to let go his desire of owning a football team in the ongoing Indian Super League (ISL) due to some conflict with the brands he endorses, will get an opportunity to fulfill his dream soon.
Sooraj Barjatya, director of Salman's upcoming film "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo", has apparently come up with a football scene in his film.
It will be showcased in a song-and-dance sequence, which has some similarity with the director's popular cricket match scene from his 1994 superhit "Hum Aapke Hain Koun...!" starring Salman and Madhuri Dixit.
"The earlier film had the entire family, including the dog Tuffy, come together for a game of cricket in the Dhik Tana song. This time they will be playing football, the game of the season," a source close to the unit told Mumbai Mirror.
The song has already been composed by Himesh Reshammiya and choreographed by Ahmed Khan. To be shot in a huge set in Kajrat next week, the track will feature the entire cast of the film including the lead actors Salman and Sonam Kapoor besides Anupam Kher, Swara Bhaskar and Deepak Dobriyal.
"It's a big song and will be extravagantly mounted. But don't expect the actors to wear any football jerseys. In true Barjatya-style, the whole family will be seen playing footie in sherwanis and saris!" added the source.
The film is looking forward for a 2015 Diwali release and though a family drama, apparently, "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" will be different from its predecessors. Moreover, the budget of the film has not yet been revealed, but the production cost is expected to be a massive one.
Meanwhile, Salman has also started shooting for Kabir Khan's "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" that has Kareena Kapoor Khan play the female lead role.
