Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif have delivered some blockbusters together. But given the current situation, it may be tough to get them to share screen space again.
According to a Filmfare report, the "Housefull 3" star is tired of Katrina turning down films with him, which is why he has apparently started declining offers with her. The pair was rumoured to reunite for "Welcome 3."
Roughly two years ago, Katrina was approached for "Namastey England" and "Singh is Bliing," but she couldn't do those films citing date issues. However, last year she had said she would love to sign a project opposite Akshay as they make a great pair.
The on-screen pair have done a total of six films till now -- "Humko Deewana Kar Gaye" (2006), "Namastey London" (2007), "Welcome" (2007), "Singh is Kinng" (2008), "De Dana Dan" (2009), and "Tees Maar Khan" (2010).
"I think Akshay and I make the best pair ever! It may be politically incorrect to say this, but it's a fact! (Laughs) We have given some big hits together. I would love to do another great film with him," BollywoodLife (citing DNA) quoted her as saying.
In other news, Katrina is working on "Jagga Jasoos" alongside ex-beau Ranbir Kapoor. "Baar Baar Dekho" with Sidharth Malhotra is another film that is lined up for a release this year. Meanwhile, Akshay is wrapping up "Housefull 3" promotions as it is set to hit the screens on Friday. He has "Rustom" ready for release on Aug 12, same day as Hrithik Roshan's "Mohenjo Daro."
