"Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" is gearing up for a leap but some of the actors and also viewers aren't too pleased about the shift in the story.
Anju Mahendroo feels it's silly to take the jump now.
"Seeing how popular this little girl Ruhi is, I feel it's silly to go for the leap. Initially, when I had a chat with Divyanka and she was against playing an elderly mom on screen. So everyone would have benefited had the leap not happened now," The Asian Age quoted her as saying.
Meanwhile, Divyanka Tripathi aka Ishita Bhalla wasn't too happy about it either. Talking about the leap, she said she wasn't too comfortable playing mother to grown up kids adding how her fans wouldn't want her to sport grey hair.
"The story is yet to be written but at the moment I am not ready to play an elderly person... We have not discussed about the forthcoming episodes. But as an actor any character will enchant me if I feel comfortable playing that particular character," she told the leading daily.
Mihika Verma aka Mihika from the show reportedly said the audience needn't worry as the characters will be retained even post the leap.
In other news, "YHM" viewers will soon get to see Salman Khan shake a leg and arm-wrestle with Karan Patel aka Raman Bhalla in one of the family functions. The superstar was on the sets to promote his upcoming film "Bajrangi Bhaijaan".
