Priyanka Chopra is keeping very busy of late. Besides promoting her upcoming film "Dil Dhadakne Do", the gorgeous actress is also shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's "Bajirao Mastani".
However, the actress was recently left upset on the sets of the period drama when she was made to wait for her shots for long hours.
Reportedly, Priyanka had requested the director to shoot her portions first as she had to fly outside the city to fulfill other commitments.
Although Bhansali had agreed initially, he apparently decided to delay her shoot later. The director, instead of shooting for Priyanka's part, shot for Milind Soman's ( who plays the negative role in the film) scenes.
"He approached Milind Soman (he plays a villain in the film) and called him for his shots while Priyanka was waiting for her scene to be shot. She had already spoken to Bhansali and he had readily agreed to can the shot. But he made her wait for hours and when her chance came, the maker shot only the menial scenes which could have been done, even if PC wasn't around. That shocked her," reported DNA.
It should be pointed out that sometime ago, there were news that Bhansali was miffed with Priyanka because she had shared her and Deepika Padukone's photos of Lavani dance rehearsals from the sets. Apparently, the ace director had planned for a grand announcement regarding the larger-than-life dance number, which Priyanka ruined.
This is not the first time that the director had upset his "Bajirao Mastani" actresses.
Recently, Deepika was upset with the ace director as well, because her costumes were reportedly too heavy for her.
However, Bhansali, who believes in authenticity, didn't pay any heed to her complaint and wanted the costume to look more traditional.
"Bajirao Mastani" is a period drama, based on the love story of warrior Peshwa Baji Rao, (played by Ranveer Singh) and his second wife Mastani (played by Deepika). Priyanka will be seen essaying the role of Baji Rao's first wife, Kashibai.
