Aamir Khan is currently busy with the shooting of his upcoming film "Dangal", but the actor is reportedly also ready with his next project.
Apparently, the actor wants to make a motion picture, which will probably be the biggest in India. According to reports, the actor is in talks with Hollywood star Mel Gibson for the motion picture.
"Aamir Khan has wanted to make Mahabharata since a long time and he has been in talks with Mel Gibson for the film. Mahabharata will be backed by a big Hollywood studio and will go on floors early 2017," Catch News quoted a source as saying.
"The team has started the pre-production and set designing long back. The script is already locked and Aamir Khan will soon officially sign the dotted lines. Mel Gibson has plans to rope in a few more actors from India in the epic saga," the source further added.
Most of the scenes of the film will be shot with the help of a US-based VFX Company, which will work on the visual effects.
However, there is no official announcement from Aamir regarding the same.
In other news, Aamir is busy shooting for "Dangal" in Punjab and is working out in the local akhadas for the film. The actor is working with local wrestlers, who presented him with a special golden gadaa.
"The team has brought in real local pehelwans and wrestlers for the film, and after the day's shoot, they got together and presented a gadaa to Aamir," spokesperson of the film confirmed the news.
