After bossing the China Open 2016 badminton super series on Sunday and bringing plenty of smiles on the faces of the Indians -- the second time after her sensational show in the Rio 2016 Olympics -- PV Sindhu will once again be in action in the Hong Kong Open 2016 badminton championship, starting Tuesday.
Sindhu, 21, is looking to nothing but qualifying for next month's Dubai World Super Series Finals -- the final Badminton World Federation (BWF) World Super Series tournament of the calendar year.
"I am looking forward to a good performance at Hong Kong. I don't know much about the ranking points," said Sindhu to Press Trust of India. The lanky Hyderabadi is currently ranked 11th in the world, according to the BWF World Rankings, and has a total of 58,069 points.
"Right now there is another tournament to go and I am concentrating on the Hong Kong Open and I hope to do well there," she added.
She is 14th with 27,490 points in the World Series Destination Dubai rankings and could quite well pip her compatriot Saina Nehwal, who is currently eighth with 35,420 points.
