Superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who has been ruling the hearts of millions with his brilliant acting skills, is likely to turn a director soon.
The actor, who attended the 20th anniversary celebrations for Zee TV channel in London, expressed his desire to direct a film in future.
The event took place on Wednesday and SRK who recently wrapped up the finale episode of his TV show "India Poochega Sabse Shaana Kaun", mentioned at the event that TV has always been his first love. He further stated that someday he would like to return to the small screens and narrate stories to the world.
"As a filmmaker and producer who would one day like to direct films, I think television is a great medium and an amazing platform," Zee News quoted Khan as saying.
"As someone who started on TV with 'Fauji', TV remains my first love. I think it would be the nicest step up for me to come back and tell stories on TV. That is the future," the star added.
Khan has been successfully running his production company Red Chillies Entertainment that has produced many films including "Om Shanti Om", "Main Hoon Na", Happy New Year" among others.
On the work front, Khan is currently busy shooting for Maneesh Sharma's "Fan". The team recently wrapped up their first international schedule in Croatia.
SRK will next start filming Rohit Shetty's the much-anticipated "Dilwale" that has Kajol in the lead role. He also has Rahul Dholakia's "Raees" on list.
