There was a time when Drashti Dhami ruled the small screen, but it's all in the past now.
After being replaced on "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 7" last year, the actress has reportedly been asked to leave her comeback TV show "Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani" for which she had shot a promo with Siddhant Karnick.
According to a Bollywood Life report, rumours suggest that the actress had made several changes in the script and altered the storyline completely. The makers have stalled the TV serial and will reportedly shoot a new promo with Siddhant.
However, since there has been no official confirmation on the matter, this can be counted as a speculation.
In the to-be-aired series, Drashti was to play a manglik girl named Gayatri who later gets married into the royal family of Ameerkot. The teaser to the show was liked and appreciated by all, but this news, if any true, would certainly sadden the "Madhubala" actress' fans.
She reportedly shot the promo before getting married with long-time boyfriend Neeraj Khemka in February 2015.
In other news, there was a strong buzz that Drashti had severed ties with friend Manish Paul after he replaced her on the dance reality show. But, the latter clarified saying there was no bad blood between them over the matter.
"Our friendship is not affected at all by this. I spoke to Drashti before taking up the show. She is a very dear friend of mine. When I told her I will be replacing her she graciously accepted that and there was no problem as such. I don't know why Drashti got replaced," he said, acording to PTI.
