Sunny Leone, who has been an internet sensation for many years now, will soon play her own self in an upcoming movie. A biopic on the life of Sunny is being planned by director Abhishek Sharma, in which the actress will play herself.
The movie would be directed by Abhishek, who had made the critically acclaimed "Tere Bin Laden." The biopic on Sunny will also feature her husband Daniel Weber playing himself. A source close to the "Beiimaan Love" actress confirmed the making of this biopic to International Business Times India.
The as-yet untitled movie will show Sunny's life story, right from getting married to Daniel, followed by her entry into Bollywood and her experience in the industry. However, it is not yet confirmed if the film will have a candid mention about her past as a porn-star in the West. Apart from Sunny and Daniel, some of the couple's friends will also be a part of the project.
A documentary on the actress, titled "Mostly Sunny Partly Cloudy," is also in the pipeline. Made by film-maker Dilip Mehta, the documentary will reportedly bring out all the details about Sunny, including her origins as a common Sikh girl Karenjit Kaur Bohra, her marriage with Daniel, her entry and rise as an adult star in Canada, followed by her journey into Bollywood.
The date of the release of the biopic on Sunny is not confirmed yet. Meanwhile, her upcoming movie "Beiimaan Love" is slated to hit the screens on Aug. 5. Directed by Rajeev Chaudhari, the erotic thriller also features Rajniesh Duggall.
