Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani's music video, "Befikra," is topping charts. Cashing in on their onscreen chemistry is director Sabbir Khan, who has apparently signed them on for his next action flick and it's not "Baaghi 2."
Sabbir's next goes on floors next year with Tiger and Disha. The team is planning to take the action in this film to another level. The music video was just a stepping stone to evaluate whether the audience will love them. Now, it's time for the lovebirds to come together for a full-fledged Hindi film," an insider told DNA.
Tiger and Disha were to come together for "Aankhen 2," a script that the young actor was enthused about. The casting was almost locked when the makers decided to replace Disha with a newbie. That was when Tiger walked out of the project, but he cited different reasons for not taking it up.
"Tiger has now conveyed to the makers that he wasn't enthused by the film's script — although he had liked it — as his reason not to do the film," a source told Mid-Day.
Tiger and Disha have a romantic history. Although the rumoured couple has gone out on dinner and movie dates, they have, on most occasions, refused to admit to their relationship.
"Tiger and Disha are together and it's evident. I wonder why they are trying to hide it! They are such an amazing couple in reality," an actress told DNA. Tiger almost agreed to having dated Disha and their equation not working out.
When asked about her "close" friendship with Disha, the "Baaghi" star told SpotboyE that they tried to make their relationship work, but he is not someone who can manage these things very well. "I don't think that I am the kind of guy anyone would fall for. I am so married to my work. I am not an outgoing person," the entertainment portal quoted him as saying.
