Taylor Swift, who has managed to keep her love life under the radar since her public split from One Direction's Harry Styles, has her eyes set on actor Leonardo DiCaprio, a new report claims.

Swift is reportedly so smitten by the recently single actor that she has asked her manager to reach out to DiCaprio's people to make sure he was her type, claims a recent report in the National Enquirer.

"Taylor has the hots for Leo, so she had her manager reach out to his people," a source told National Enquirer, according to The Hollywood Gossip. "Taylor wanted to feel Leo out to make sure he's good boyfriend material."

The magazine goes on to say that even DiCaprio has reciprocated a desire to get to know Swift, who, the source said, is similar to the actor's previous love interests. "Taylor is exactly Leo's type - tall, blonde thin and gorgeous. He's even more turned on by her success."

However, not everyone is happy with these developments. Swift's mother and her close pals, singer Selena Gomez and Victoria's Secret model Karlie Kloss, allegedly do not want Swift dating a guy who has a "spotty dating record."

The actor is known for dating models, and the list of his girlfriends include Kristen Zang, Emma Miller, Gisele Bundchen, Bar Refaeli, and Erin Heatherton.

"Taylor's mom, pals Selena Gomez and Karlie Kloss are very concerned about Leo's spotty dating record and heavy-duty partying," said the insider. "But Taylor knows what she wants and she thinks they'd make the perfect power couple."

At this point, the National Enquirer report is just hearsay as neither Swift nor DiCaprio have confirmed the news.

Interestingly, there have been similar reports of Swift allegedly wanting to date Bradley Cooper. But the actor slammed these reports on Howard Stern calling them "complete horses**t."
