Veteran actress Sridevi's elder daughter Jhanvi Kapoor is on the verge of making her foray into Bollywood.
The 17-year-old is likely to be launched by the master of big banner productions, Karan Johar. The filmmaker after having launched Alia Bhatt quite successfully in "Student of the Year" is now gearing up for a lavish launch of Kapoor, reported Mid Day.
Johar, who is said to have known the starlet for a long time, is now giving serious thoughts to her Bollywood debut. Quite like "SOTY" the teen's debut vehicle is likely to feature a fresh cast and the required nitty-gritty with respect to the project is presently underway, informed a source to the tabloid.
Meanwhile, Kapoor who has been a regular face in events with her gorgeous mother Sridevi, is said to be grooming herself. The youngster is said to be undergoing diction classes and dance training and doing her part for her big break.
However, the "English Vinglish" actress feels that her daughter's education is a priority and Johar's film is likely to proceed only after the teenager completes her basic academics. The 50-year-old in earlier interviews had expressed her remorse at not being able to complete education owing to her demanding profession in the showbiz.
Meanwhile, offers are flowing in for the youngster from down South as producers are wishing to cast Kapoor opposite Chrianjeevi's son Ram Charan Teja and Nagarjanuna's son Naga Chaitanya.

Apart from Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh's daughter Sara was also in talks of debuting in Bollywood sometime ago. But Sara's step-mother, Kareena Kapoor Khan, recently rubbished reports of Sara's Bollywood debut.
