Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor has finally made his dubsmash debut in the famous 'shopkeeper' video with Gaurav Gera.
Earlier, the 'shopkeeper' dubsmash was done by Vivek Oberoi and Akshay Kumar. Akshay was accompanied by Sidharth Malhotra in that video.
After their clips tickled their fans, Shahid's version is adorable and yet extremely hilarious.
The "Haider" actor and Gaurav made the video with a little twist as the dialogues were not the original ones. In the clip, the actor talked about his film "Kaminey".
Gaurav has not only made a dubsmash video with Shahid but also featured in another 'shopkeeper' dubsmash with Alia Bhatt.
Looking at the clothes of Shahid and Alia, it seems the video was made on the day of "Shaandaar" song launch.
On Tuesday, the two launched the film's fourth song 'Raitaa Phail Gaya'. Currently, Alia and Shahid, along with director Vikas Bahl, are busy promoting their upcoming flick "Shaandaar", which is slated to be released on 22 October.
Directed by Bahl and co-produced by Phantom Films, Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and Fox, the film has created a lot of curiosity ever since the release of its trailer.
In the film, both Alia and Shahid suffer from insomnia and fall in love in the middle of a larger-than-life wedding. It is an out-and-out youthful love story focusing on two characters -- Alia and Jagjinder Joginder. Alia's father Bipin (played by Pankaj Kapur) adds a twist to their romance as he believes no guy will be good enough for his daughter.
Alia is a dreamer and Jagjinder Joginder is a doer and he feels he can make anything happen. And Bipin hates him for obvious reasons.
This is the first time Shahid and Alia are teaming up for a film. "Shaandaar" is supposed to be India's first ever film on "destination wedding".
