Bollywood queens Kareena Kapoor Khan and Priyanka Chopra who don't share a cordial relationship, ever since they worked together in "Aitraaz" (2004) and their alleged affair with actor Shahid Kapoor, will reportedly share a screen space.
The duo will come together not in a masala bollywood entertainer, but in a documentary drama presented by Chopra in association with UNICEF.
Chopra who is UNICEF'S National Ambassador promoting child rights and adolescence and Kareena is the organisation's India Celebrity Advocate supporting children's education in India, will present a docu-drama for a good cause.
"PC and Bebo have been bonding ever since reports surfaced that the two actresses ignored each other at an international awards event earlier this year. It was PC who reached out to Kareena asking her to feature in a documentary film on the girl child and women's education. Kareena who is right now advocating the right to secondary education for all children, especially girls and women, agreed immediately." DNA quoted a source.
"And it's for a good cause so she's doing it for free. It's a surprise given their past history, but it proves that these actresses have not only mellowed but matured a lot and are willing to put aside their differences for a good cause. Right now, the modalities and dates are being worked out. A couple of more actresses may be approached as well." the source added.
Kareena confirming the news told that Chopra has called her up for something that she plans to do and asked her to join for the cause, which she agreed. The actress, however, don't want to reveal anything more.
The "Singham Returns" actress clarified that she and Chopra respects each other and there can never be any problem between the two. The actress further stressed that any issue between her and the former Miss World are all made up by the media, instead she is very fond of Chopra as a person.
During the initial days of their career, both Kareena and the "Mary Kom" actress were romantically linked with actor Shahid. While the "Jab We Met" couple's relationship was quite a talk of the town then, Chopra and "Haider" actor never confessed their relationship in public.
Even during the seasons of "Koffee With Karan", the duo in separate episodes were seen spilling some not so good rapport about each other.
Back in 2006, Chopra and Kareena did work together in "Don", though Kareena appeared only as a special guest.
