The shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus "Bajirao Mastani" starring Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra, is currently going on in full swing.
Singh recently shot for a major fight sequence in Rajasthan and now his girlfriend and co-star Deepika is up for some serious sword-wielding, reported DNA. The leggy lass will reportedly wear a 20kg armour for the scene and is getting herself trained for shooting some physically demanding sequences.
Earlier, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan had enacted a similar sword fighting scene with Hrithik Roshan in Ashutosh Gowariker's historic drama "Jodha Akbar".
Bhansali's "Bajirao Mastani" is based on the love story of warrior Peshwa Baji Rao, (played by Singh) and his second wife Mastani (played by Padukone). Chopra will be seen essaying the role of Baji Rao's first wife, Kashibai.
Although, the film will essentially revolve around the real life lovebirds Singh and Padukone, the story of Baji Rao's troubled first wife Kashibai is an important part of the film.
"Bajirao Mastani" brings Singh and Padukone together once again after "Goliyon Ki Raasleela: Ram-Leela" (2013).
While a major war sequence was shot in Jaipur recently, reportedly some parts of the movie will also be shot in the city's Sambhar, Amer Fort, Raigad and Kanota Fort, reported Deccan Chronicle.
"Bajirao Mastani" also features Aditya Pancholi and Mahesh Manjrekar in important roles and is scheduled to hit theatres on 25 December, 2015.
