Shankar, who is gearing up to start the shooting of Indian 2, seems like preparing for one more project. If the rumours are to be believed, the filmmaker has a plan to work with Hindi actor Hrithik Roshan.
A Bollywood portal has reported that the duo is presently in talks for a science fiction film. Hrithik Roshan is impressed with the script and the movie would begin once the director wraps up Indian 2.
However, the actor looks like yet to sign the project on the dotted lines. The report adds that it is a 3D movie similar to 2.0 which will have world-class VFX.
Shankar had reportedly approached Hrithik Roshan earlier for Akshay Kumar's role of Pakshirajan in 2.0, but the actor could not take up for some reasons. But it did not stop the actor from hailing the movie.
After watching 2.0, Hrithik Roshan tweeted, "Saw 2.0 trailer. Shankar sir has done it again. So looking forward to this one ! All the best to the entire team ! @2Point0movie @akshaykumar @shankarshanmugh. [sic]"
Currently, Hrithik Roshan has two projects in hand – Vikas Bahl's Super 30 and Siddharth Anand's untitled movie.
Indian 2:
The shooting of Shankar's Indian 2 will reportedly begin in mid-January. The first schedule is planned in Pollachi before the team leaves to Ukraine. The Lyca Productions-funded movie has Kamal Haasan and Kajal Aggarwal in the leads.
