Three civilians were reported killed in a suicide attack, suspected to have been carried out by Taliban militants in Kabul on Sunday morning. Several NATO soldiers, including that of the British forces, were injured in the attack, reports said.
"It was a suicide bombing against a foreign forces convoy in a crowded part of the city and there are casualties," interior ministry deputy spokesman Najib Danish told Reuters.
The suicide bombing took place in the Juy-e-Shir district of Kabul near a market at about 9.20am, witnesses said. Several military vehicles and civilian cars were damaged in the attack.
Medical teams and additional security arrived at the scene quickly, TOLOnews journalist Mirabed Joyenda said on Twitter. The wounded have been rushed to a hospital, Joyenda added.
