UPDATE: The Taliban attack on Friday that targeted a guest house near the Spanish embassy in Kabul ended with all attackers killed. A Spanish policeman was also killed in the attack.
A huge bomb blast was reported in the centre of Afghanistan capital Kabul on Friday evening.
Taliban has claimed responsibility for the car bomb blast. The police have cordoned off the Sherpor area after the loud explosion in the city.
Reports suggest the blast occurred in the area near Afghan vice-president Abdul Rashid Dostum's residence and the Spanish Embassy.
The insurgents have reportedly entered a building that houses local police forces.
The Taliban have been launching deadly attacks in Kabul for the past few months, mainly targeting government offices.
