Ranbir Kapoor's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (ADHM) has made a decent collection in a limited number of screens at the overseas box office in its sixth weekend.
Ae Dil Hai Mushkil was released with Shivaay in key international markets on October 28 and did decent business at the overseas box office in the first week. The movie clashed with big-ticket Bollywood movies like Rock On 2, Force 2, Tum Bin 2, Dear Zindagi and Kahaani 2, but managed to remain strong at the ticket counters, while Shivaay was forced out of most of the cinema halls.
The Karan Johar-directed romance drama is running strong in some cinema halls in the US, Canada and UK even in the sixth week. Ae Dil Hai Mushkil has collected $3,024 from 3 screens at the US box office in its sixth weekend, taking its 38-day total to $3,316,792 (Rs 22.64 crore). The film has grossed $901from 1 screen at the Canada box office in its sixth weekend and its 38-day total stands at $897,198 (Rs 6.13 crore).
Ae Dil Hai Mushkil has collected £ 5,024 from 11 screens at the UK box office in its sixth weekend and its 38-day UK total collection has reached £1,467,071 (Rs 12.68 crore). The movie has reportedly been withdrawn from the cinema halls in other international market in its sixth week.
Ae Dil Hai Mushkil has collected AED1,346,343 (Rs 11.43 crore) and €1,17,601 (Rs 85.79 lakh) at the UAE and Germany box offices respectively in 17 days. The film has raked in A$825,246 (Rs 4.24 crore) and at the Australia box office in 31 days. The movie has grossed NZ$268,416 (Rs 1.29 crore) MYR205,679 (Rs 31.7 lakh) at the New Zealand and Malayasia box office, respectively, in 24 days.
The Ranbir Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Anushka Sharma-starrer was released in few other foreign countries and its exact numbers are not available. Reports suggest that Ae Dil Hai Mushkil collected approximately US$ 13 million at the overseas box office so far and it has become one of the Indian blockbusters in the international markets in 2016.
