Karan Johar's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (ADHM) has crossed another milestone at the box office with its collection crossing Rs 150 crore gross at the worldwide market.
Ae Dil Hai Mushkil has been performing brilliantly not only at the Indian box office, but also at the overseas market. Starring Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Fawad Khan, ADHM has turned out to be one of the highest grossers of this year.
While the film's nett domestic collection is inching close to Rs 100 crore, the gross worldwide earning of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil has already surpassed Rs 150 crore. The movie collected Rs 74.01 nett by the end of Wednesday, but its gross earning stood at Rs 102.79 crore at the domestic market.
On the other side, the overseas collection of the film was Rs 46.67 crore till Tuesday, taking its gross worldwide collection to Rs 149.46 crore. Thus, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil was just Rs 54 lakh away from reaching Rs 150 crore gross business at the worldwide market, which the film has definitely collected on Wednesday at the overseas box office.
The romantic drama had opened up at the box office with overwhelming response. The film had earned Rs 13.30 crore nett at Indian box office on its opening day, which was excellent, considering the festive season. The film had witnessed huge jump in its collection on Monday as it had collected Rs 17.75 crore. The subsequent days' business was also impressive that helped the film cross Rs 150 crore worldwide gross collection.
Directed by Karan Johar, ADHM has been facing competition at the box office from Ajay Devgn starrer Shivaay that also got released on October 28. The film's collection would have been more if it was a solo release. With no major films coming up this week, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is likely to stay strong at the box office.
