Rhea Chakraborty who will be soon seen in Charudutt Acharya's "Sonali Cable" has reportedly done multiple kissing scenes in the film with the lead actor Ali Fazal for which she had firmly refused earlier.
While a kissing shot is nothing strange in Bollywood films, Chakraborty's move has reportedly come in a bit to take revenge on her ex-boyfriend Aditya Roy Kapur.
The "Mere Dad Ki Maruti" actress signed for "Sonali Cable" when she was in a relationship with Aditya and hence refused to do any kissing scenes then. But, as time passed their relationship soured thereby giving way for Chakraborty to reconsider her no-kissing clause.
"When Rhea began working in Sonali Cable she was was seeing Aditya Roy Kapoor and she wanted all the kissing scenes to be scrapped from the script. But as the shooting progressed she broke up with Aditya and began to thaw about the no-kissing clause," a source from the film told Pink Villa.
Apparently, after breaking up with the "Daawat-e-Ishq" actor, Chakraborty was not sure about lip-locking in the film, until she saw her ex-lover's passionate kiss with his rumoured girl-friend and co-star Shraddha Kapoor in "Aashiqui 2".
"After her break-up with Aditya, Rhea was in two minds: to kiss or not to kiss. When she saw her ex-beau liplocking with Shradha Kapoor in Aashiqui 2 there was no stopping Rhea. She agreed to every smooch. And there's an abundance of smooching in Sonali Cable," the source added.
"Sonali Cable" scripted by Acharya himself and produced by Ramesh Sippy and Rohan Sippy is about a ghetto girl and her internet boys who run a cable business providing internet facilities in and around Mumbai. The film is slated to release worldwide on 10 October.
Meanwhile, Aditya is busy promoting his upcoming film, "Daawat-e-Ishq" opposite stunning Parineeti Chopra. Set in Hyderabad, Habib Faisal's "Daawat-e-Ishq" is all about food and its indulgence. The film, releasing on 19 September, has Aditya play a chef from Lucknow while Chopra plays the role of a disillusioned Hyderabadi girl.
