Bollywood actor Aditya Roy Kapur is busy promoting his upcoming film "Fitoor", which also stars Katrina Kaif, nowadays. He was recently spotted at Bandstand in Bandra, Mumbai, where he had a coffee date with many of his female fans.
Bandstand is popular thanks to Shah Rukh Khan's Mannat and Salman Khan's Galaxy apartment. Fans waiting outside these superstars' residences is a usual sight there. However, on Sunday, Kapur's presence brought Bandstand's traffic to a standstill.
The "Aashiqui 2" actor had gone to a coffee shop to meet his fans, and as soon as this news of his presence spread, a huge crowd gathered outside the café to catch a glimpse of the actor. Kapur took some time out of his busy schedule to interact with fans, and also had coffee with them.
The actor interacted with the media as well, but requested them to have a normal conversation instead of any interview. Sources said Kapur loved every bit of the interaction and was surprised by the special gestures of his female fans.
Kapur and Kaif had recently appeared on "Comedy Nights Live", which has replaced Kapil Sharma's "Comedy Nights With Kapil", to promote his film. Salman gave the "Fitoor" actors a surprise on the show. Earlier, Kapur and Kaif had also appeared on the grand finale of "Bigg Boss 9" to promote their film.
Releasing on 12 February, Abhishek Kapoor's "Fitoor" shows Kapur as Kashmiri lad Noor who falls in love with Kaif's character Firdaus. It is a love story that also features Tabu in a pivotal role. This is the Indian adaptation of Charles Dickens' "Great Expectations".
Produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur and the director, the film is the first time Aditya and Kaif are sharing screen space.
