The makers of "Idhu Naama Aalu" has finally zeroed in on the actress to do a special number in their upcoming Tamil movie. After much consideration, Adah Sharma has been roped in for the song in the Tamil movie, which stars Silambarasan aka Simbu and Nayantara.
"All the best to @adah_sharma who starts shooting from today the cameo songs in @iam_str's #IdhuNammaAalu," journalist Sreedhar Pillai revealed the news on Twitter. Adah Sharma is said to be dancing for "Maaman Waiting" song, which is written by Madhan Karky.
The actress will reportedly shake a leg with Simbu in the track. The shooting of the song begins Thursday, March 10, and it is expected to be completed in the next few days.
"Maaman Waiting" is crooned by T Rajender, Suchitra and Blaaze. Simbu's younger brother Kuralarasan has scored music for the album, the rights of which has been acquired by Lahari Music.
The original plan was to shoot the song on Nayantara. The "Arrambam" girl was not keen to be part of the number as she felt that it was not adding any value to the storyline following which the makers decided to film the song on a different actress.
In fact, the director also was against having the special number in the flick.
Nonetheless, the producer and Simbu were firm and reportedly approached a few actresses, including Shruthi Haasan. In the end, Adah Sharma was signed on the dotted lines for the special number.
In fact, the delay in finalising the actress has now pushed the release. "Idhu Namma Aalu" was supposed to be released March 25. Now, the latest buzz says that the flick will see light of the day April 8.
"Idhu Namma Aalu" is a romantic-comedy movie, written and directed by Pandiraj and produced by Simbu's father T Rajender.
