Tamil cinema is abuzz with rumours of a break-up between actress Trisha and businessman-turned-producer Varun Manian and that the celebrity couple have called off their marriage plan. They were supposed to get married by the end of this year.
Trisha and Varun got engaged in a private ceremony on 23 January, 2015.
They have reportedly been going through a rough patch ever since Valentine's Day. Though the rumours of their separation are strong, Trisha and Varun are yet to respond.
Most of the reports cite a tweet by Varun as a sign of trouble between the celebrity couple. Varun had posted a picture of him with his sister, in which he mentioned about his pre-wedding jitters.

Recently, Trisha's backing out of a movie produced by Varun Manian also made headlines.
Reports also suggest that the couple called-off the wedding soon after Varun visited his parents who are settled in the US. The couple apparently have been trying hard to maintain distance from each other at parties and public events, making it more awkward for close friends.
Meanwhile, Trisha is on a role with some good projects on hand. The "Yennai Arindhaal" heroine is awaiting release of movies "Bhooloham" and "Appa Takkaru" with Jayam Ravi, Telugu movie "Lion" with "Nandamuri Balakrishna" and a multi-heroine movie "Bhogi".
The actress has also a signed an untitled Selvaraghavan project and reportedly is part of Kamal Haasan's upcoming thriller.
