Here is a surprise news for the fans of Sonia Gowda. The Kannada actress is ready to marry car racer Rahul Kanthraj. They will tie the knot on October 26.
Sonia Gowda is remembered for her roles in Yogish starrer "Jinkemari" and Preetham Gubbi's "Nam Duniya Nam Style".
She met Rahul Kanthraj, one of the top rally drivers of India, through their common friends and they fell in love. The couple's marriage has been approved by their families and they will marry as per the Hindu Gowda customs.
However, Sonia Gowda always had wished to have a Christian white wedding. Hence, she has decided to sport a gown. "We hit it off and my mum also liked him. The wedding will be a traditional Gowda affair in the morning. I have always dreamt of a Christian white wedding, so for the reception, I will wear a gown," the Times of India quoted the actress as saying.
After their marriage, she will go to the US to be with Rahul Kanthraj's family. But she will return to India in a few months as she wants to continue her career here. The actress has already signed two projects, one in Kannada titled "Preethinda" and other in Tamil, which is yet to be titled.
Apart from these films, she also has some business to look after in Karnataka and this will force her to be in the city for some time. Meanwhile, Sonia Gowda is busy with her wedding related works.
