Mollywood actress Sarayu Mohan, who got engaged to her close friend Sanal V Devan on April 4, entered wedlock on Saturday, November 12.
The star-studded ceremony that took place in Jawaharlal Convention Centre in Thrissur was attended by a few celebrities of the entertainment industry, including Rima Kallingal, Bhamaa, Muktha, Shritha Sivadas, Rachana Narayanankutty, Anumol, Chithra Iyer, Sayanora Philip, Krishna Prabha, Sruthi Lakshmi, Rajith Menon, Shalin and Jayasree Sivadas among others.
Sarayu married Sanal, who is an assistant director in the Malayalam film industry. The duo has worked together in Mammootty-starrer Varsham, which garnered positive response from the audience. He has also assisted directors Jeethu Joseph and Arun Shekhar in Dileep's Life of Josutty and Jayasurya's Jilebi, respectively.

Earlier on Saturday, Sarayu had posted a video on her Facebook page seeking the blessings and prayers of all her fans, who have been supporting the actress for years. "Hi, very good morning to all of you. Today is an important day in my life, it's my marriage today. Apart from considering me an actress, you all have loved me as a friend and sister. I have been receiving messages and support from many. I am entering a new phase of my life today. I seek your blessings and please remember me in your prayers. I request you to support me in my future movie projects as well. Thank you so much [translated from Malayalam]," the actress is heard saying in the video.
On Thursday, singer Amrutha Suresh, actresses Sruthi and Shritha, among others had attended the mehendi ceremony of Sarayu. The photos of the private function that happened in Kochi, have surfaced online.
Sarayu, who began her acting career in Lohithadas' Chakkara Muthu in 2006, has been a part of more than 35 movies. The actress has played pivotal roles in the movies Four Friends, Janapriyan, Husbands in Goa, Nidra, Varsham and was last seen in Biju Menon's Salt Mango Tree in 2015.
