Actress Hansika Motwani has revealed her look in the upcoming Tamil film "Aranmanai", to be directed by Sundar C.
The actress posted a picture on Twitter, which showed her in an ethnic look and standing next to the director. Hansika revealed that it took her sometime to convince Sundar before releasing the picture on the social networking site.
Apart from Hansika, "Aranmanai" has Lakshmi Rai, Andrea Jeremiah and Santhanam in pivotal roles. The film, which went on floors recently, is touted to be a comedy horror.
This is the second time that the child actor-turned-heroine has teamed up with director Sundar, after the success of their last Tamil release "Theeya Velai Seiyanum Kumaru" (TVSK).
The actress is quite nervous about her role in the film. "Never been nervous about any of my character or roles, but for the first time nervousness has caught me, started shoot for #aranmanai," Hansika tweeted.
"Excited to be a part of this project but by far it's a super challenging role for me that I haven't done till today ..," she further said.
Hansika began her Tamil film career with Dhanush's "Maapillai" in 2011. The bubbly actress rose to stardom with a string of films including "Engeyum Kadhal", "Velayudham", "Oru Kal Oru Kannadi", "Settai", "Theeya Velai Seiyyanum Kumaru" and "Singam 2".
She is one of the most sought-after actresses in south Indian cinema, having bagged big projects with top stars in Telugu and Tamil films. Her upcoming projects include "Vaalu" and "Vettai Mannan" with her lover Simbu, "Biriyani" with Karthi and "Maan Karate" with Siva Karthikeyan. She also has a couple of Telugu projects in the pipeline.
