Actress Anju has become the latest victim of online death hoax after rumours started doing rounds that she had passed away. Cinematographer Natty Nagraj has given a clarification to put an end to the speculation, which came as a shock to many.
"Baby anju is alive with her family.. many of them said she is expired..... She lives in valasarawakkam happily....Why is this trying to happen for what?.... [sic]," furious Natty Natraj tweeted.
Meanwhile, Anju has reacted to the issue stating that "rumours are false." She claims that it has happened to many people in the past and she is the latest victim. "It is a disturbance to both me and my family," Behindwoods quotes her as saying.
Anju is a Tamil, Kannada, Telugu and Malayalam actress who started her career as a child artiste at the age of two in 1979 J Mahendran's film Uthiripookkal. Since then, she has worked in over 90 movies in multiple languages.
Apart from acting in movies, Anju, who is married to actor OAK Sundar, has appeared in TV shows.
