Actor Vishal's attempts to curb piracy might look like a film scene. Vishal went straight to the police station when he found some local cable channels telecasting some pirated films, which are still running in the theatres. He went along with the police to the channel office and caught the individuals who were running the film on air illegally.
Vishal is currently shooting for the film "Poojai" at Karaikudi. After returning from the shoot, the actor noticed the local television channels running the latest films "Vadacurry" and "Un Samayal Arayil." The actor immediately reported about this to Karaikudi police station and took necessary actions.

A video was also uploaded on YouTube, which was taken by someone who was witnessing the scene at the police station.

Meanwhile, the industry welcomed and appreciated Vishals' attempts to curb the piracy.
