Bollywood's first superstar Rajesh Khanna, who was reported to be fine, has been admitted to Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital again following health problems.
According to reports, the actor has been rushed to the hospital after is health condition worsened and he is believed to be suffering from stomach infection.
The actor has not been keeping well for quite some time. On Thursday, his manager, Ashwin, said that the 69-year-old actor is unwell and has stopped eating food for the past few days.
"He is unwell, and at home. He has stopped food intake for three to four days. Dimple is continuously by his side and his daughter Rinke also visited him," the Press Trust of India reported quoting Ashwin on Thursday.
However, on Friday, Akshay Kumar, Bollywood actor and Khanna's son-in-law, told reporters that he is doing fine and is on the road of recovery.
"All those spreading rumours, a humble request, get your facts right before reporting. And for those genuinely concerned & inquiring about my father in-law's health, he is doing fine now & on the road to recovery. Thank you for your good wishes," concerned Akshay Kumar wrote on his Whosay account.
On Friday, the actor along with his estranged wife Dimple Kapadia and son-in-law Akshay appeared on the balcony of his home 'Ashirwad' on Mumbai's Carter Road to assure his fans that he is doing well.
Popularly called as Kaka by friends, Khanna was wearing white kurta, a light brown colour stole and dark shades. He appeared very weak with his heavily bearded look and showed victory sign to his fans while they were waiting to catch a glimpse of the superstar.
