Actor Prakash Raj had a narrow escape when an RTC bus rammed into his car while waiting at a traffic signal in Hyderabad on Tuesday night.
The incident took place when the actor was travelling to his farmhouse in Shamshabad after shooting for his upcoming Telugu film "Rudhramadevi 3D" reported the Hindu. The actor's driver stopped the vehicle as the signal turned red near Hi-Tec City flyover, when the RTC rammed into the rear portion of the car.
The bus also hit an autorickshaw throwing a woman and six-year-old girl out of the three-wheeler. "The girl suffered a minor injury to the hand," Madhapur inspector K Narsimulu told the Times of India. The cops have registered a case against the RTC bus driver under sections 337 and 279 of the Indian Penal Code.
Later, Prakash took to twitter and spoke about the accident. "Had a miraculous escape as a bus rammed into us from behind at a tragic signal. Cars jammed. Family thrown out of an auto," he posted.
The actor also expressed his anger over the inhuman attitude of the youngsters, who were taking pictures instead of helping the people lying on the road.
"It was terrifying to see the youngsters.. instead of saving People who were lying thrown around... They were busy taking pictures.. Shame.. More than the shock of a possible death ...I'm shaken by this inhuman attitude of people. What's happened to us.. Where are we heading...???" he posted.
He also thanked fans and his well wishers for their love and concern. "To one n all pouring concern n love to me. Was shaken for some time. I'm fine now. Thank you for your love. Smile be happy let me relax now," the actor said.
Prakash Raj was recently seen in Akshay Kumar's slapstick comedy Hindi film "Entertainment." The actor has several projects in his kitty including Ram Charan's "Govindudu Andarivadele" (Telugu) and "Rudharamadevi 3D." The actor on Tuesday revealed the first look of his character in the historic drama. He will be appearing in the role of Shiva Devaiah, the trusted prime minister in Rudhramadevi's kingdom. Anushka Shetty plays the title role, while Rana Dagubbati appears in pivotal role in the film.
