Taiwanese PC Maker Acer has released Iconia Tab 8 tablet on Friday ahead of Computex trade fair which is scheduled to kick start in Taiwan next week.
The company will showcase the tablet at the trade fair along with a number of smartphones and devices. The tablet comes with 8-inch full-HD (1920x1200 pixels) IPS display with anti-fingerprint coating and is powered by Intel Atom quad-core Z3745 Bay Trail processor. It is the first tablet to feature Google's latest Android version Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box OS and packs 2GB of RAM along with 16 and 32GB of internal storage with an expandable option.
Iconia Tab 8 houses 5.0-megapixel rear camera and 2.0-megapixel front camera. On the connectivity front, the tablet supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Micro-USB. The tablet will go on sale in Q3.

Apart from Iconia Tab 8, Acer has also introduced five smartphones namely Acer Liquid X1, Acer Liquid E600, Acer Liquid E700, Acer Liquid Z200 and Acer Liquid Jade and a Liquid Leap smartband.
Acer Liquid X1 sports a 5.7-inch IPS display with a 720 x 1280 pixel resolution and comes powered by 1.7 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6592 processor paired with 2GB of RAM. The smartphone houses 13.0-megapixel camera with LED flash and a 2.0-megapixel front-facing camera. In terms of its internal storage, the Liquid X1 comes with 16GB of built-in storage with expandable option by up to 32GB via micro SD card. The connectivity features of the handset include 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth and A-GPS and it comes loaded with 2,700 mAh battery.
Coming to Liquid E600 smartphone, it features 5-inch IPS display with a 480 x 854 pixel resolution and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS. Under the hood, the handset packs 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 MSM8926 processor, Adreno 305 GPU, 1GB of RAM and 4GB of built-in storage with expandable option. Other features of the Liquid E600 include 2,500 mAh battery, 8.0-megapixel rear camera, a front camera and connectivity options including 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, Micro-USB and GPS.
The next smartphone is Acer Liquid E700 with 5-inch IPS display with a 720 x 1280 pixel resolution. Powered by 1.2GHz quad-core MediaTek processor along with Mali 400 GPU, and 2GB of RAM, this smartphone offers 16GB of built-in storage, 8.0-megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash, 2.0-megapixel front-facing camera and 3,500 mAh battery.
The Liquid Z200 of Acer sports 4-inch display and is powered by 1GHz dual-core MediaTek processor and 512MB of RAM. It features 4GB of built-in storage, 2.0-megapixel camera and 1,300 mAh battery.
Moving on to the latest smartphone Acer Liquid Jade, it offers 5-inch IPS display with a 720 x 1280 pixel resolution, 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory. The smartphone hosts 13.0-megapixel rear camera and a 2.0-megapixel front-facing camera. Connectivity options of Acer Liquid Jade smartphone include 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, Micro-USB and A-GPS and it comes loaded with 2,100 mAh battery.
