After weeks of speculation and leaked images on the internet, Taiwanese electronics giant Acer has revealed the world's first mini Windows tablet on its official website.

The company showed-off the Iconia W3 among other Iconia series tablets on its website, but revealed only certain key specs of the mini Windows tablet.

Acer Iconia W3 sports an 8.1-inch WXGA multi-touch LCD screen with 1280x768p resolution and runs on the Windows 8 Pro powered by the Intel Clover Trail Z2760 processor with 2GB RAM. The new tablet also houses a 2.0-megapixel web-camera.

Acer hasn't revealed the price of the device just yet. But earlier last month, online retailer giant Amazon(US) had accidently listed the Iconia W3 (32GB variant) for $379.99 (close to ₹20,904), and later removed the device from its catalog.

According to various reports, Acer is expected to officially launch the 8.1-inch Iconia W3 next month at the international information technology trade fair Computex 2013 in Taipei which is scheduled to take place from 4-8 June.
