Sanjay Gupta's "Jazbaa" has been in the news ever since Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was roped in to play the lead role. The film marks the former Miss World's comeback to the film industry after a five-year hiatus.
Adding to the cheer, it has now been revealed that the film also features her husband Abhishek Bachchan. The "Happy New Year" actor will make a special appearance in the film.
Gupta took to his twitter handle to express his joy on shooting with Abhishek.
"Big excitement at the shoot today as Abhishek Bachchan shoots his special appearance in JAZBAA." he tweeted.
While Aishwarya's fans are eagerly waiting for the flick to release, with Abhishek on board, it will be an added treat for the fans to watch the stunning husband-wife jodi on-screen. The couple last shared the screen space in Mani Ratnam's "Raavan" (2010).
"Jazbaa" is a female-oriented film and has Aishwarya playing the lead role of a lawyer. She will also be performing some high octane never-seen-before action sequences. Recently, some leaked pictures from the shoot also made its way to the internet.
The film is a remake of South Korean crime drama "Seven Days" and recent reports suggested that the "Guzaarish" actress will sport a completely different look in the film.
"Jazbaa" also features Irrfan Khan and Shabana Azmi in significant roles and will hit theatres on 9 October, 2015.
There were also news that certain adjustments have been made to the actress' work schedule. The gorgeous lady is said to be available to the film's director only when her daughter, Aaradhya, needs no assistance at home.
Soon after wrapping "Jazbaa", the beauty queen will start shooting for Karan Johar's "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil" in May this year. The film has Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma in lead roles.
