Speculations are rife that Shah Rukh Khan has agreed to play the villain's role in Dhoom 4 -- the fourth instalment of Yash Raj Films' successful Dhoom franchise. It was reported that SRK had already signed the film and it will be released on Christmas 2019.
However, Abhishek Bachchan, who had been a part of Dhoom franchise from the beginning, said that he will wait for an official confirmation from Aditya Chopra.
When Abhishek Bachchan was asked whether the rumours of Shah Rukh Khan playing the baddie in Dhoom 4 were true, the Manmarziyaan actor told PTI, "Till Adi (Aditya Chopra) doesn't tell me I would not believe any of the rumours."
In the first three instalments, John Abraham, Hrithik Roshan and Aamir Khan have played the role of villain and they nailed it with their badass portrayal.
Meanwhile, the husband-wife duo Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be teaming up together for their upcoming film Gulab Jamun. Both the actors have liked the script and agreed to do the film but they are still figuring out when to do it.
Abhishek will be making his comeback to the celluloid with Manmarziyaan after taking a two-year sabbatical from acting. Directed by Anurag Kashyap, the movie also stars Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal in lead roles. It is slated for release on September 14.
