Bhagyashree's son Abhimanyu Dassani is credited to be the first Bollywood actor whose debut film Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota (MKDNH) has been selected for the world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) 2018.
Produced by Ronnie Screwvala and directed by Vasan Bala, Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota is Abhimanyu's debut film and the first Indian action film in the history of Indian cinema to be screened in the Midnight Madness Section. This category features the world's best movies in action, horror, thriller and fantasy genre are nominated. The TIFF is held from September 6-16 this year.
Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota talks about a young man born with the ability to feel no pain as he strikes out on a quest to vanquish 100 foes. Abhimanyu will be seen opposite Radhika Madan.
Even before the release of his debut film, Abhimanyu has become extremely popular in his fraternity for being multi-talented, not just in the professional space but also personal and that certainly speaks volumes for the young actor.
Being a method actor, Abhimanyu has watched several martial arts films and has gone through rigorous training as the film requires him to be proficient in taekwondo, mixed martial arts and wing chun.
