Bollywood Hungama review: "On the whole, ABCD - ANY BODY CAN DANCE 2 makes for a good viewing and this film will surely find its way to its target audience - the youth, as the film has the right mix of content and visuals in it."
Sweta Kaushal of Hindustan Times said: "ABCD 2 is, without doubt, about mesmerising dance sequences and its equally impressive dancers. Trouble is, it's reduced to a joke every time the music stops and the characters are made to talk. The dialogues are poorly written and the plot is so thin that you want to tear it apart and beg Remo to stick just to the dance sequences!"
Sneha May Francis of Emirates 24/7 said: "Had Remo focused on the dance, and cut out the rest of the mush, this would've been a great watch."
Tanul Thakur of Firstpost said: "For a film revolving around a hip hop dance championship, one expects actors to break into twists regularly, but ABCD 2's many and needlessly frequent dance sequences make it less of a film and more of a bunch of loosely-strung music videos that can't tell a compelling story."
Ananya Bhattacharya of India Today said: "In a nutshell, one's review after watching ABCD 2 can just be that it is an enjoyable film. Yes, there are those inescapable parts where the film loses the viewer, but more on that later."
Saibal Chatterjee of NDTV said: For dance freaks, there is much on offer. For lovers of cinema, ABCD 2 is a hazy blur of a movie.
