Bollywood's rising star Varun Dhawan is too busy at present with the projects in hand. He had to postpone other projects due to his back-to-back films, "Badlapur" and "ABCD 2".
His brother Rohit Dhawan's film "Dishoom", in which the actor is playing the lead role, has been delayed for quite some time now. Supposedly, the film's shoot was about to begin early this year, but Varun had no dates to spare before July 2015.
John Abraham has also been signed for this film and he is reportedly back after two years to work with his buddy Rohit.
"The film would have rolled around January 2015. John who has a clean slate this year gave immediate dates to his buddy Rohit Dhawan. But Rohit's kid brother who plays the other lead, was busy completing and promoting two back-to-back projects Badlapur and ABCD2. Varun is finally free to for his brother," a source stated, Pinkvilla reports.
Meanwhile, the "Dishoom" makers are waiting for Varun, who has also signed Karan Johar's "Shuddhi" alongside Alia Bhatt. He is also still busy with Rohit Shetty's "Dilwale", starring Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Kriti Sanon, which will hit theatres on 18 December.
While talking about the "Badlapur" actor's tight schedule, father David Dhawan said, "Varun doesn't even have time to say hello to me. I guess this is what every father dreams of. That his son should become busier than the father," Pinkvilla reports.
The handsome hunk's "ABCD 2" with Shraddha Kapoor proved to be 2015's biggest opener at the box office and it is now also set to cross ₹100 crore-mark worldwide.
