Remo D'Souza's directorial film "ABCD 2" (Any Body Can Dance 2) retains its top position at the box office this week as well, since there is no big release.
The film, starring Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead, has earned approximately ₹91 crore, so far, and is now looking forward to achieve the second highest grosser of 2015 title.
"ABCD 2" collected approximately ₹2.75 crore on second Monday, following which its total 11 days box office collection stands at over ₹91 crore.
"#ABCD2 is heading towards ₹ 100 cr in India [Week 2] Fri 3.71 cr, Sat 5.77 cr, Sun 7.40 cr. Total: ₹ 88.91 cr. India biz. SUPERB!" trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted the second weekend box office collection of "ABCD 2".
By the end of the second week, the dance film will beat Akshay Kumar's "Baby" lifetime earnings records to claim the second highest grosser position. With no releases this week, "ABCD 2" continues to dominate the domestic box office.
The film is also set to cross enter the coveted ₹100 crore club with its domestic net earnings.
