Nana Patekar is back on silver screen with "Ab Tak Chappan 2", which is a sequel to the hit movie of the same name. However, it disappoints critics.
The film has failed to live up to the expectation of the prequel, which was released in 2004. "Ab Tak Chappan 2" is a crime drama directed by Aejaz Gulab. The film features Nana, Gul Panag and Ashutosh Rana in lead roles.

Shubha Shetty Saha of Mid-Day said: "This might be a director's attempt at making it all look artistic and 'hatke', but what it ends up doing is showing us sights like the not-so-pretty thighs of a dhoti wearing politician."
Surabhi Redkar of Koimoi.com said: "There is nothing appealing in this sequel. Shimit Amin could have given some tips to Gulab before creating this camera disaster. If you are a die-hard Nana Patekar fan, still you won't enjoy it so to avoid tampering his image don't watch it."
Sneha May Francis of Emirates 24/7 said: "Eleven years after director Shimit Amin created the magnanimous encounter specialist Sadhu, Gulab crushes him with an unfitting comeback."
Subramanian Harikumar of BollywoodLife.com said: "Performance wise only Nana Patekar's acting is worth a watch. Good actors like Gul Panag and Ashutosh Rana are completely wasted."
Manjusha Radhakrishnan of Gulf News said: "Watch this if you are a fan of Patekar and have an appetite for gory gangster-cop films."
Piyasree Dasgupta of Firstpost said: "Basically, the makers of Ab Tak Chappan 2 asks you to treat Sadhu Agashe as Harry Potter, the mere mention of who should make us all sing 'Mera Piya Ghar Aaya, O Ramji' in our heads with glee. That is perhaps the biggest flaw in the endeavour that is Ab Tak Chappan 2."
