The much awaited song Payye Veeshum Kaatil from Malayalam movie Aanandam hit the cyberspace on Sunday, November 6. The romantic song, featuring Thomas Mathew and Siddhi Mahajankatti, who play Akshay and Dia in the campus entertainer, has opened to positive response from audience.
"Here is the most requested Video!! Payye Veeshum Kaatil. Come and watch as Akshay and Dia explore Goa and in turn get to know each other a little better and become a little closer [sic]," the team Aanandam wrote while sharing the video song on Facebook.
The romantic song, set in the backdrop of Goa, has been composed by Sachin Warrier, while Anu Elizabeth Jose has penned its lyrics. Ashwin Gopakumar and Sneha Warrier have rendered their voice for the track, which has been viewed more than 83,000 times on the YouTube channel of Satyam Videos, at the time of reporting.
Meanwhile, the campus movie, helmed by Ganesh Raj, has been performing well at the box office in India after opening to tremendous audience response. Vineeth Sreenivasan's maiden production venture has already become the winner of the season along with Mohanlal's action thriller Pulimurugan.
Aanandam, starring seven newcomers in the lead roles, is said to have earned a gross amount of Rs 1.12 crore within 17 days of its theatrical run from the five multiplexes in Kochi. The 17th day collection of the movie is Rs 8.37 lakhs with average theatre occupancy of 87.7 percent at the multiplexes.
