Yesteryear classic comedy "Andaz Apna Apna" (1994) starring Aamir Khan and Salman Khan, will apparently be re-released on theatres this November.
The makers of the film have apparently decided to release the film again on big screens to mark the film's 20th anniversary, reported NDTV Movies.
The film, directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, also starred Raveena Tandon and Karisma Kapoor in the lead roles besides Paresh Rawal and Shakti Kapoor.
Although, initially "Andaz Apna Apna" did an average business at the box office, over the years the comedy flick has left an everlasting impression on its viewers with some of its popular dialogues and characters.
Apart from its success, the comedy drama was also nominated for 1995 Filmfare Awards in four categories: Best Film, Best Actor (Aamir), Best Director and Best Comedian (Shakti). Shakti played the popular villain-cum-comedian Crimemaster Gogo.
With the two superstars back on screen together, it would surely be a treat for the Khan fans to watch the then budding stars in a 70mm screen.
However, it is said that the lead actor of the film Aamir is not too pleased with the film's re-release plan.
Interestingly, while the two Khan, Aamir and Salman, are still good friends, the lead actresses of the film, Karishma and Tandon are said to be no longer in good terms.
Meanwhile, perfectionist Aamir will soon be seen in his much anticipated film. "PK". also starring Anushka Sharma. The recently released teaser of the film has been receiving overwhelming responses from the viewers.
On the other hand, Salman is currently shooting for Sooraj Barjatya's "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo". The family drama expected to be released in 2015 Diwali, also has Sonam Kapoor opposite Salman.
The "Kick" star has also started shooting for Kabir Khan's "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" that has Kareena Kapoor Khan play the female lead role.
