Aamir Khan finally brought his eight-month-old son, Azad, in the public eye on Sunday.
The actor along with wife Kiran Rao was spotted with the child at Sahar airport, while they were on their way to the US to begin "Dhoom 3" shooting.
Unlike Aishwarya Rai, who still keeps daughter Aaradhya at arm's length from the paparazzi and the whole world, Aamir gave the shutterbugs a chance to click pictures of his little one at the Mumbai airport.
On Sunday night, the family left on a British Airways flight for Chicago, where shooting of the action thriller will take place. While Kiran looked relaxed with her iPod, Aamir played the role of a perfect father and carried the little bundle of joy in a baby sling.
Aamir, who was snapped in his green jeans, white T-shirt and a black cap, held the baby protectively as he allowed the media to take photos of his son.
This is Azad's first international trip with his parents. Earlier this year, the eight-month-old visited Bangalore along with his mother for few days.
Azad Rao Khan was born on Dec 1 with the help of IVF technology and a surrogate mother. From his first marriage to Reena Dutta, Aamir has 17-year-old son Junaid and 12-year-old daughter Ira.

Unlike some parents in the film industry, Aamir and Kiran were casual about their son getting media attention.
Earlier in May, when Aishwarya returned to India from 65th Cannes Film Festival in France, both mother and daughter were spotted at the airport. But the over-protective mom made sure that the shutterbugs didn't come close to getting any snapshots of Aaradhya's face.
