Superstar Aamir Khan could pair up with "Barfi!" actress Ileana D'Cruz in his next project.
The 26-year-old Goan beauty is reportedly under consideration for the "Dhoom 3" actor's next film, informed a source close to Aamir to The Times of India.
However, D'Cruz's casting is still only in its initial stages and there has been no confirmation yet.
Interestingly, the pretty actress had expressed a desire to work with the big names of the industry, predominantly the Three Khans, in an earlier interview.
D'Cruz, at an earlier point of her career, had missed an opportunity to work with Salman Khan, when she had refused "Wanted" which was a remake of her Telugu film "Pokiri".
Then later, speculations of the actress running as a contender for the Sooraj Barjatya film, opposite Salman, rose but eventually faded away.
And now, it remains to be seen whether the actress is signed opposite the perfectionist Aamir.
The "Main Tera Hero" actress has already shared screen space with some of Bollywood's young stars like Ranbir Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor and Varun Dhawan. This apart, the actress will also feature opposite Saif Ali Khan in his new home production "Happy Ending".
Meanwhile, Aamir, who is currently busy in his social crusader role for the second season of "Satyamev Jayate", had recently rubbished reports of an excel film, opposite Deepika Padukone.
But the actor has approached "Sarfarosh" director John Matthew Matthan for a new script, giving rise to sequel speculations.
"In Sarfarosh, the character continues. I had a word with John and he is writing the script, but it's too early to speak about it (sequel)... I have to like it (the script) and both of us have to be equally excited about it. Then we can say we are doing it," Aamir had told Hindustan Times.
