Superstar Aamir Khan has played down speculations of doing a film with Deepika Padukone soon.
Previous reports had hinted that the "Dhoom 3" actor might star in a time travel film, along with Deepika, which is to be produced by Farhan Aktar and Ritesh Sidhwani's Excel Entertainment.
However, the 48-year-old has now dismissed the reports as false. A Bollywood insider, who met Aamir on Wednesday, claims the actor has confirmed the that reports of him and Deepika doing a film were just rumours and he has not signed for any new film yet.
Aamir further explained that his schedule for 2014 is packed with "Satyamev Jayate" works, leaving him no time to take up any film.
It is to be noted that season 2 of "Satyamev Jayate" will be aired in three segments, thus making the show's presence felt throughout the year. While the first segment, comprising five episodes, is ready to be aired this March, the remaining eight episodes will be aired in two segments later this year.
Meanwhile, when asked about his film "PK", the meticulous actor informed that a minor portion of the film's shoot is still pending but is expected to be completed soon.
Aamir's statement validates recent reports which had hinted that some scenes involving Sanjay Dutt are still left to be shot.
Meanwhile, Aamir was seen tear-eyed while interacting with the media on the "Satyamev Jayate" press event on Wednesday. The actor confessed to being an emotional person and said that him crying on the show was only his natural reaction to a moving incident.
