Arjun Kapoor's stint with ladies footwear in the recently released "Ki and Ka" song, "High Heels", is a shocker and has raised quite a few eyebrows. But what many may not know is that Aamir Khan rocked the stilettos way back in the 90s.
In thigh-grazing slits and short dresses, the superstar flaunted some cool moves in the "Dole Dole Dil Dole" song from "Baazi" (1995). Because content (in any form) didn't have a tendency to go viral and social media was yet to be discovered, this "brave" and "ahead-of-its-times" gig by Aamir went unnoticed.
Meanwhile, Arjun is extremely thrilled about his role in the R Balki directorial where he gets to play a house-husband who aspires to be like his mother. Despite essaying a character this unique, he believes it isn't an image-breaking move.
"We were always told that you have to look macho, do action but I have a soft side to me which Balki sir saw. I am somebody, who was close to his mom, so this also appealed to me. I never saw it as an image breaking ," Mid-Day quoted him as saying.
Slated for an April 1 release, the romantic-drama also features Kareena Kapoor Khan. Apart from the off-beat concept, the film has been in the news for the numerous kissing scenes that its trailer had. "I have always maintained that I would go according to my script. I don't know why the kissing scene has become a big deal. We should move past kissing scenes," Kareena told Hindustan Times.
