Aamir Khan and Salman Khan will be seen playing the role of wrestlers in their upcoming films "Dangal" and "Sultan," respectively. However, Aamir believes that they are not the real heroes of the films.
During his interview with Rajat Sharma for "Aap Ki Adalat," Aamir opened up about the controversies related to his speech on intolerance and "PK" movie. Aamir also spoke about the two movies "Sultan" and "Dangal" and how he is a big fan of Salman Khan.
There are several similarities between "Dangal" and "Sultan" and thus comparisons are often drawn between the two films. So when a fan asked Aamir, which movie should we watch first as both "Sultan" and "Dangal" are based on wrestling, the actor replied, "Salman's movie is releasing first, so will watch his movie first. And like you all even I am Salman's fan, so I am also eagerly waiting for his film to release. And I am sure Salman has done a great job."
When Rajat questioned who among them is the bigger wrestler (pehelwan), Aamir replied, "Kushti is the biggest pehelwan in the films. Its not Aamir and Salman, but Kushti is the real hero of the films. Wrestling will benefit from these movies I believe."
"Sultan," directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, is a complete entertainer. The film features Anushka Sharma and Salman in the lead roles and is slated to hit the screens this Eid.
On the other hand, "Dangal" is based on former wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat and his four daughters. "The film talks about the empowerment of the daughters of India, where I play the role of a father to four daughters," sources quote the actor as saying during the interview, according to the Hindustan Times.
